I have spent all day on the phone replying to texts and phone calls from friends and family who attended Mum’s funeral service yesterday. Rochelle, you did such a beautiful job. I just find it so amazing to think that you didn’t know Mum, because the way you weaved her life in to such a lovely story was very personal. It wasn’t just the tribute you wrote though; it was the way you helped us during a very emotional time, your guidance with the layout and the grandchildren suggestions for eulogies and then the way you presented it all. My sister, Sally in Sydney, said she couldn’t imagine anyone doing it better. And we both agreed that all the quotes and poems you suggested and used were spot on. I just want you to know that we are so very grateful for all the time, energy and care you put into our special day. We all knew honouring our Mum would be a great day and you made it perfect. Rochelle was selected to be our funeral celebrant through our chosen funeral home. We were beyond happy with how fast Rochelle put together our father’s service and how easily she accommodated any changes or specifications we had in mind for the service. There were even some decisions made on the day of, however Rochelle was happy to work with us through the entire process until the very end.
